The multimedia exhibition TOUCH NATURE presents positions in the face of the current ecological crisis. Artists enter into a transnational dialogue and take a stand on the devastating humanitarian, political, economic and ecological effects of the Anthropocene. It becomes clear that artists are not only highlighting deficiencies and expressing resistance, but are also creating utopias.
The exhibition venues are former customs houses on the Slovenian and Austrian sides in Gornja Radgona and Bad Radkersburg. A cross-border performance on August 3, 2024 at 17:00 will link the two exhibitions and be followed by a concert evening in the Pavelhaus.
A project of the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs, realised by the Austrian Cultural Forum Ljubljana, Slovenian Cultural Information Centre SKICA Vienna, Pavelhaus, Artikel VII Kulturvereinigung für Steiermark.

After Slovenia joined the EU and later the eurozone, the former customs houses in Bad Radkersburg and Gornja Radgona became obsolete. In 2011, the art collector Reinhard Diethardt acquired the buildings on the Austrian side. The rooms were used as an art space under the management of Joachim Baur. Numerous important artists made contributions. In 2023, the municipality of Bad Radkersburg purchased the buildings and intends to continue using them for cultural purposes.
