Von Hier nach Dort
Hans Schabus
In 2023, L201 will be further enhanced by a sculpture developed for the site by artist Hans Schabus, in cooperation with Kunst im öffentlichen Raum Steiermark (Art in Public Space Styria). The artist develops a stair-like sculpture, which functions as a tribune in the opposite field of the art space. In this staging, the art space becomes a stage on which several concerts take place during the height of summer. The Landestrasse 201 moves into the center of the action. At the same time, it connects and separates the audience on the grandstand with and from the actors on stage. Two lines of sight cross - the passing cars in the longitudinal direction of the road and the transverse axis with the L201 art space and the grandstand.

Opening
Saturday August 5, 7-9:30 PM
Performances:
Alicia Edelweiss
Alicia Edelweiss is an Austrian-British singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, actress and visual artist based in Vienna. She started her musical career as a street musician in her teens, hitchhiking all over Europe for two years. In her search for freedom and traveling without money, she discovered quite quickly her passion and talent for music - at that time still armed exclusively with a guitar.
Stina Force
It starts with a rhythm that slowly turns into hammering, you hear the drums and you hear her voice. Stina Force, born in 1989 in Gothenburg, Sweden, has formed her own single punk band. She is a drummer, singer, choreographer and performance artist. Once you see her live, your definition of a powerful performance will probably change. She acts raw and ambiguous, giving it her all with her drums, her body and her voice. Her performance, a mix of music, poetry and travesty, embraces the grotesque and the vulnerable at the same time.
Tuesday August 15, 7-9:30 PM
Performances:
Peter Piek
Peter Piek is a painter, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, author and performance artist. He is at home in Leipzig as well as on concert and exhibition tours on 3 continents. "There are people who don't seem to know where to put all their talents. The versatile Leipzig artist Peter Piek undoubtedly belongs to this species. His songs are atmospheric sound pictures that tell stories." Süddeutsche Zeitung
Felix Helmut-Wagner
Felix Helmut Wagner is a visual artist, civil engineer and performer. His performances, performative installations and video works mix principles of scientific modeling with narrative methods of theater and the field of experimental music. Fact and invention usually overlap in his works in an absurd way. He explores the fundamental question of how humans describe themselves and the world around them, and how this description can be questioned and reinterpreted. In this questioning, the greatest possible openness is the goal for Felix.

L201
The art space L201 is located in Studenzen, in the southeast Styrian municipality of Kirchberg an der Raab. It defines the driveway of a single-family house and forms the border to the heavily frequented Landesstrasse 201. Due to its open structure, the surroundings remain visible and audible and become part of the works on display. In 2021, this display was conceived by Alfred Lenz as part of an intervention by Kunst im öffentlichen Raum Steiermark (Art in Public Space Styria) and has since been used by artists in a contextual way.
