Sarah Bogner
Sarah Bogner's paintings oscillate between figurative representation and ornament, conveying great lightness and light-footed humour.
The dancing, intertwined bodies bear the heads of horses, sometimes with additional tentacles, extra necks with heads and hats and they like to smoke. The transparent application of colour is reminiscent of frescoes, the forms evoke numerous associations from art history. They open up at first glance and yet they allow for the most diverse levels of meaning. They are absurd, surreal, childlike, playful, mischievous and tremendously self-confident - in-between creatures in every respect that make us smile and impress us with their theatrical grandeur.

Gerberhaus
The last remaining community centre in Fehring built in this style was purchased by the municipality in 2002 for the purpose of establishing a cultural and communication centre and adapted and redesigned with the support of the Province of Styria from the revitalisation fund. The Kultur GerberHaus association has set itself the task of revitalising this building with high-quality events on visual arts, literature and music.
