The translation into other materials and the resulting removal of functionality reduces the original form of the objects to the absurd in that technical use falls by the wayside. The installation plays with parameters of imitation and appropriation, randomness and staging, principles of disorder and order. The photographs on display form the interface to the public space and open up a humorous critical perspective on the technologization of our environment and energy resources.
